Welcome to the Raven Hill Vineyard Cottage! Immerse yourself in a working vineyard with outstanding views and modern amenities. This spectacular Wolfville location is directly across the street from Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards and a short 15 min walk to shops and dining on Main Street. The cottage is on the upper two floors of an old farmhouse that was moved to its current home and has been fully renovated while respecting the character of the building. I hope you enjoy a fully stocked kitchen.
The space
The Cottage is on the upper two floors of a two-unit flat. A separate studio suite for two is located on the basement level, accessed from the side of the home. It is located centrally in a working vineyard that supplies grapes to other winemakers! You may see vineyard staff and farmers doing their work at any time throughout your stay!
On the main level of the cottage are a fully stocked kitchen, a bathroom, a dining area for 4, and a living room. There is also a wood-burning stove; wood can be purchased upon arrival for $10; we will give you a phone number to call to get the wood. Off of the dining room is a balcony.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, with queen beds and storage space for your clothing and belongings.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the Cottage Suite. Guests are permitted to stroll through the vineyard or enjoy a picnic. However, they must remember it is a working vineyard with heavy farm equipment and staff. Any children must be supervised at all times. Guests are prohibited from touching the grape vines or leaving any trace in the vineyard (such as litter, confetti, decorations, etc.).
Other things to note
Please remember that this is a working vineyard. There is farm equipment and staff on-site for most of the day. Following a rain shower, the vineyard must be sprayed with an organic spray, and you should have windows closed during this time (to avoid everything getting wet).
This is not a pre-friendly space.
