Summary: The Anchor Cottage at 8 Top Battery Road surpassed our expectations which were high to start. The cottage is nestled in a wonderful traditional neighbourhood, perched on the cliff looking out over St John’s harbour. The facility was clean updated and located close to both downtown and the scenic hike to Signal Hill. The deck view was simply spectacular. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for either an active holiday exploring St.John’s and environs, for for a relaxing restful break. It’s terrific.
