Right from the doorstep of the Bungalow, you can readily access several walking trails, and you are a 15-minute walk to Eugenia Falls, where you can access the Bruce Trail for some spectacular hiking. Many other access points to the Bruce Trail are a quick drive away. In addition, the whole area offers excellent cycling.

For foodies, Grey County has emerged over the past few years as a “must-visit” destination, and the Bungalow is an easy drive to many of these food and wine destinations. A 10-minute drive away, you can find two excellent restaurants in Kimberley: Hearts and Justin’s Oven. Sue’s Delicatessen in Markdale serves up some of the most delicious sandwiches and cinnamon buns (only on Saturdays!). Savvy Coffee, The Flesherton Bakery, Artemesia Cheese & Fine Food Shop and the Bicycle Cafe are all located nearby in Flesherton. And, if you’re lucky enough to time your visit with the Flying Chestnut Kitchen being open, you can take a 10 minute walk to this delicious restaurant right in Eugenia.
