Renovations included all new designer furnishings comprised of antique pieces, new luxury mattresses, new down filled sofas, and an antique harvest table that seats 8-10 people. The home was tastefully decorated with carefully chosen pieces to reflect a warm and inviting upscale ambiance.
This 4 bedroom home is beautiful and light-filled comprised of a sunroom, separate TV room with new sofas, spacious kitchen, separate main floor office and a dining room for 10 people. Renovations also include exterior and interior paint throughout, a new 14 foot deep wrap around outdoor patio with water views and outdoor furniture including a screened porch with all weather wicker sofa seating. High quality linens, light feather duvets and towels are supplied.
Our private four acre property boasts 250 feet of pristine shoreline and is hidden from the main road. It is surrounded by beautiful trees, farm fields and waterfrontage affording complete privacy for our guests and stunning views out to the sea. Sea kayaking can be done from this property, exploring the often calm waters of the Darnley basin surrounding the home.
Located in Anne’s Land on Prince Edward Island’s north shore, the home is less than a 5 minute drive to two a secluded oceanfront sandy beach (Thunder Cove - one of the best on the island and Cabot Provincial Park), and less than a thirty minute coastal drive to the popular tourist attractions of Cavendish and its National Park with three miles of sand dunes. We are also within a thirty minute drive to four of the island's top golf courses. This is an ideal base for exploring the island and the exceptional attractions the area has to offer. Fresh lobster, mussels and oysters are available to purchase from local fishermen at Basin View Seafood Market - a two minute drive away. Ship to Shore Restaurant and their seafood shop is walking distance and was recognized by En Route magazine as one of Canada's top 10 new restaurants in 2010. The city of Summerside is 20 minutes by car and Charlottetown is less than 40 min away.
The manicured gardens and lawn is a perfect place for families to stroll, play and relax stroll or have a beach bonfire. Adirondack chairs on the property are a great place to sit and enjoy the sunset views.
Well mannered pets are welcome and will be safe to roam freely with supervision - a pet waiver and pet damage deposit might be required.
