Summary: We had an amazing time at this cottage. We were an adult family group and had extended family with teenagers join us for a few days. Everyone had such a great time. We had no complaints and can’t fault anything - the only downside was when it was time to leave! We would definitely return in future. The outside space was a highlight of the cottage. There were different places to be from eating on the deck, the gazebo with nets to keep the bugs out, the dock which got great sun, a hammock and seating area by the water with loungers. There was a kayak and 2 paddle boards to use when we wanted to get on the water. The lake was warm enough to swim and scenery was beautiful. You could tell that the host was experienced and the cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bathroom had toiletries and plenty of toilet paper and the bedrooms were all comfortable and well decorated and accommodated our group well. There were games, puzzles and books which was a nice touch. There was a welcome booklet provided with useful information and the host was super responsive to any questions. Some of us also worked remotely and found the wifi to be excellent. The location is great and within an easy drive of anything you need. We took a couple of day trips and had initially planned to do more but we were so happy at the cottage we didn’t need to!
