A quick note on layout & sound
This suite is a lower-level space within our home and includes a shared entry with another private suite. There is an adjoining door near the kitchen (kept closed and double-deadbolted when booked separately).
While the spaces are separated and designed for privacy, some everyday household sound (such as footsteps or doors) may occasionally carry. Because of this, the suite is best suited for guests seeking relaxed, peaceful stays with quieter evenings, helping keep the experience comfortable for everyone.

Quiet Enjoyment
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- This home is best suited for quiet enjoyment, especially in the evenings. Parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted.
- Because sound can travel between spaces, we ask guests to be mindful of volume and closing doors gently, especially later in the evening.
Smoke-Free Home
- No smoking or vaping indoors.
- If you smoke outside, please use an ashtray and dispose of cigarette butts in the garbage bin.
Guests & Visitors
- Registered guests only. All overnight guests (adults, children, and infants) must be registered on the reservation.
- Overnight visitors who are not registered are not permitted.

No Pets
Shoes & Belongings
- Please remove shoes at the top of the stairs.
- Do not bring bikes, boards, skis, or other outdoor recreational equipment inside the home.
- Please do not lean items against the faux wood wall near the entrance — it is decorative and easily damaged.
Odours & Consideration for Others
- Please avoid strong or lingering odours (heavy cooking, incense, etc.) that may impact the comfort of other guests or future stays.
Rental Agreement & Security Deposit (if applicable)
- A standard short-term rental agreement is required and must be signed within 48 hours (or within 4 hours for last-minute bookings).
- A refundable security deposit of $100 will be required and authorized via our booking system (OwnerRez) prior to arrival.
