Welcome to The Salisbury Barn Cellar!
The Space:
The Barn, sitting on 10 acres in a peaceful rural setting was painstakingly converted into our home in 2018. The Cellar is a private, fully fitted, self-catering suite that is centrally located just a short drive to the wineries, breweries and restaurants. We would love to share a little of the County with you.
The stone foundation and beams are all original to the barn. With the addition of modern underfloor heating, air conditioning and ventilation, the Cellar is comfortable and cozy all year round.
The Cellar, is a separate unit on the lower level. Your hosts, Peter and Krista, and Fred welcome you to have a tour of the barn. Have a wander around the seasonal pond and vegetable garden; weeding is always appreciated.
There are 2 indoor "Barn" cats, Fluffy and Spike, are very social and love to say hello. For the benefit of guests that have allergies, we ask that you don't let them into The Cellar.
This home is fully licensed as per Prince Edward County STA bylaws. #ST-2019-0227
The bylaw stipulates the maximum capacity of the property is 2 people.

Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops. Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art. The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.
Getting Around:
Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in The County, although we do have a number of taxi companies and car for hire services.
