Our beach house is the perfect place for the family that likes to travel with their entire family, including the dog. Nestled in historic Cape May, this home is located on the town's main street. Downtown shopping, ocean beaches, trendy restaurants, the Cape May harbor, the dog park, and several playgrounds are all located within a mile or less of our home. A five minute drive will take you to the Cape May Lighthouse, the bird sanctuary, Sunset Beach and the Cape May/Lewis Ferry.
For entertainment we provide cable TV, DVD players, and wireless WiFi internet.
The house sleeps between 8-11 people with dining seating for 10 people. There is a total of approximately 2000 square feet of living space. The inside room descriptions are as follows: 1) living room: a large living room with two full size couches, a flat screen TV and DVD player, coffee table, and gas fire place. One of the couches is a full size pullout bed. 2) dining area: table and chairs to seat 6. 3) kitchen: full size eat in kitchen with all new appliances, table and chairs to seat four. 4) family room: large rear family room with sofa and love seat, a table and chair set to seat four, and a TV. The love seat is a twin pullout bed. 5) full size bathroom with tub. 6) master bedroom with full master bath and queen bed. 7) 2nd bedroom: queen bed with additional storable twin bed 8) 3rd bedroom: queen bed with additional storable twin bed.
Our house is located on a large lot with a fenced-in rear yard. The backyard has several shade trees and a large deck for outdoor dining and entertaining. A gas grill is included for outdoor grilling. There is an enclosed outside shower for cleaning up after a day at the beach. There is also a large enclosed storage area to store bikes and beach chairs. There is off street parking for about four cars.
We encourage the whole family to travel together, so our house is a kid friendly and dog friendly home. If you are traveling with your dog, we ask for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $150. Sorry, dogs only. No other types of pets please. Well behaved dogs of all sizes are welcome.
