This is a beautiful two-story home renovated in 2009. It has gorgeous knotty pine and cherry hardwood floors throughout. It is a very large home with six bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms and an extra shower just off of the dock. The house comfortably sleeps 14 people. The 'great room' is expansive, with living room, dining room (large table seats 8-10), and wrap-around bar with a 55' flat screen TV, a gas burning stove, a card table and elegant furnishings. The main floor bedroom has another large-screen TV and wheelchair accessible bed and bathroom. There is a full kitchen which includes a microwave, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, with a washer and dryer adjacent. There is an outdoor gas grill. It has central heat and air conditioning.
Our home has an enormous one-of-a-kind 300 foot dock, ideal for large and small boats, and an expansive porch off the main great room. There is ample room for protected swimming, fishing, and relaxing on the dock. There are amazing views of the St. Lawrence River main channel, Calumet Island and Bartlett point in the heart of the Thousand Islands.
Easily accessible by car in downtown Clayton, the home is within walking distance to several great restaurants, ice cream shops, the Clayton Opera House, the Antique Boat Museum, and all the shopping that Clayton has to offer. It sits next door to a lovely village park.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. There is a large master king suite with a Jacuzzi tub, loveseat, and breathtaking views. All of the bedrooms have room darkening shades.
This is a wonderful retreat for multiple families or a group of friends, in a very convenient and marvelous setting.
In the off season, it could be the ideal location for wedding and bachelorette parties, or business and shopping retreats.
