Tequila Sunrise is a charming classic cottage on beautiful Pickerel Lake that is 30 min north of Huntsville. This spacious tree-lotted backyard has stunning views of the lake. We provide 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 peddle boat, and a few floaties, or bring up your own water toys and enjoy time on the lake with easy access to the water from our 50ft dock. Please bring water shoes as the bottom of the lake is a mix of rock and sand. You are more than welcome to use our dock for your own boat, and there is a public boat launch on Pickerel Lake just a few minutes away. Shallow entry from lakeshore will ensure a wonderful vacation for families with small children or pets. There is also a public beach on Pickerel Lake that has a shallow entrance into the water, which would be great for a fun afternoon with the kids. From the cottage, you can step onto a new wrap around deck, which also has great views of the lake. Tequila sunrise can sleep up to 8 people as it has 1 queen bed, 1 double, and 2 twin beds. The main living room has a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space. This cottage has newly installed vinyl plank flooring throughout the whole cottage to make it pet friendly! There are indoor and outdoor games provided to make fun memories that will last forever!
Burks Fallls is a 15min drive from the cottage, which has a Tim Hortons, Valuemart, LCBO, a few restaurants.
Cell phone service is patchy and unreliable. wifi can also go out in bad weather conditions.
We have a security camera on the woodshed to view cars coming in and out of the cottage as we have cleaners and deliveries throughout the summer. The camera can only view from the side door of the garage to the driveway. the camera can not see the firepit or the cottage.
