Our house sits on a spectacular bay looking out over the ocean south towards Vancouver Island, with multiple smaller islands in front. The views are breathtaking and every day you are inspired by the ocean at your feet. Just outside of Pender Harbour, the area is famous for its fishing,boating, its scenery and mild climate year round. 5 lakes in the area are a short walk 5 minutes away for swimming and watersports plus the private beach in front of the house. There are several beautiful hikes for all levels in the area and a spectacular daily hike right from the house that has truly world class views and scenes. Privacy and situated incredibly quiet neighbourhood with no thru road so all you hear are the eagles, the seals, whales and the other plentiful wildlife. We have deer, elk, bears, raccoons, otters, and more as regular visitors. Excellent mountain biking right from the house as well. Truly an exceptional place of beauty, mild weather and quiet. You can be as active as you want or just relax in nature. Sechelt community 40 mins away has xc skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Garden Bay gets 1/2 the rain that vancouver gets. Rarely does it even get snow and is green year round. Such a wonderful retreat from Canada's cold winters or for amazing summer days.
