Spacious, bright and sunny. This is an abandoned (slated to be demolished fall 2023) brick building converted to residential loft in the trendy Little Italy neighborhood on rue Jean-Talon West. Tall ceilings, large windows in every room (360 degree windows, so you can see the sun rise and set), entire 2nd (top) floor with privacy, decorative marble and tile mosaic, spacious kitchen with surround maple countertop. Awesome neighborhood (where everyone wants to move now, condos popping up everywhere) surrounded by cafes, bars, parks, restaurants, and shops. Easy access to plenty of attractions and Montreal culture.
Ideal space for family or a group of friends {up to 10} who want to experience the real Montreal - living in a LARGE loft space with a lot of character, in a trendy neighborhood close to great music venues, restaurants, markets, and art galleries.
'Dark' room has a large movie screen projector you can connect to laptop with an elevated 'T' platform and surround seating, and the 'Light' room (kitchen + dining) has lots of plants, 6 person dining table, pellet stove, long 'L' countertop with barstools and a vintage TV/VCR with a huge collection of VHS movies.
For the sake of accuracy, I will mention that a few of the rooms are rough around the edges, ie. exposed concrete and imperfect walls, .... The outside of the building is currently in a state of disrepair (spring 23') This is a 100+ year old building. So guests who are looking for a modern condo, super neat clean lines, white drywall and new ikea crap everywhere will be disappointed. But if you like stylish with vintage/antique, natural light + plants, and some industrial style DIY then this is the spot!
*If you are highly allergic to dogs you should seek somewhere else. The place is very clean but a large dog lives here sometimes.

I thoroughly clean all surfaces, doorknobs, lightswitches etc. with a chlorine bleach spray before every check in and the central forced air system has 1800 Ultimate allergen air filters changed regularly.
Home theater projector, surround sound home stereo (with headphone jack for mp3 players, CD/DVD, and vinyl record player), DVD player and over 100 movies, HDMI adapter for laptop, DVD collection, claw foot bathtub, washer and dryer, board games, vhs player and about 50 vintage movies, full kitchen cooking supplies, table for 6, lots of sunshine and plants....
There is a great Dep (corner store) across the street that serves fresh soups and sandwiches daily.
For the sake of transparency, I will mention that the OUTSIDE of the building is not in good condition currently (April 2023); the second floor is covered in homewrap and there is graffiti on the outside of the building (like many old buildings in the area). The INSIDE of the building however is good, like the pictures.
