Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The hotel was fine. It's a beautiful period building, so the lobby and communal areas are impressive, but as a result, the rooms are quite old-fashioned. That said, it was comfortable enough and perfectly adequate for a two night business stay. Location was great for downtown Syracuse.

Negative: The breakfast was pretty awful, especially considering it's not bundled in. I skipped it on day two. The pillows are way too soft. The bed had too much paraphernalia on it -blankets, cushions. Makes getting into bed a right faff! Like all hotels, it needs more lights.

Summary: Perfectly adequate room, but nothing outstanding.
