Summary: It was not too bad. The room was comfortable, the shared bathroom was clean but the sink was in my room so I had to leave the bathroom and go back to my room before I could wash my hands.
The ceiling fan made it comfortable because it was very hot outside.
The staff were very courteous and carried my luggage when I arrived, and they always treated me well. Most of them knew English.
There were electric bikes for rent just across the street and there were lots of coffee shops and other businesses close by.
There was also 2 large catholic cathedrals within walking distance, and the catacombs as well.
It were affordable, which was especially important seeing as how I was stranded there because of the Air Canada strike.
The only thing I really didn’t like was that there was no coffee or tea available. There was also no Bible left in the night table. I thought that every hotel was supposed to have one, but apparently I was wrong.

Summary: You get what you pay for here. It’s a very run down place that smells of smoke, and the bed is uncomfortable. The sheets don’t look clean either. There is a shared bathroom on each floor. I’m really not complaining though as it was a cheap place to stay for the F1 race, and just down the road from the Metro.

Summary: Low key, no frills place. Be aware of which room you're booking, not all of them have an integrated bathroom, but some do. Owners/people who worked there were all very kind and helpful. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone, but for the purposes of my short Mtl work trip, it absolutely did the job.
