Nestled in the lakeside town of Wardner, the Cabbage is ideally located with direct access to the the famous Trans Canada mountain bike trail, a public boat launch with trailer parking, prime fishing and water sports on the Kootney River and Lake Koocanusa, skiing/snowboarding within a 40 minute radius, hiking, ATV /snowmobile trails, par 3 nine hole golf course (Jaffray, 10 min), and numerous local pubs and craft breweries in Jaffray, Fernie and Cranbrook.
The Cabbage comfortably sleeps 6 in private rooms in the main house, up to 8 if the beds in the walkout basement living room space (2x XL twin daybeds) and fold out XL twin in the loft are utilized (with host prior approval only). Even with a full house the Cabbage has ample room for living, dining, snuggling in front of the wood burning stove and games around the table.
