Nestled in the heart of Exploits Valley, Bishop's Falls is an ideal home base while you explore the scenic Exploits Valley and the surrounding coastal communities. Icebergs, whale watching and scenic fishing communities are all within an hour drive of our town.
Enjoy many activities all seasons long, including kayak, snowshoeing, salmon fishing, snowmobiling, ATV exploring, swimming, boating, and hiking, all within minutes (walking distance) of our home.
We within walking distance of the Pat O'Reilly Memorial Stadium, Fallsview Park, boardwalk, boat launch, salmon fishing, trestle, salmon lookout, and stadium. Railway bed for cruising it on our doorstep.
Snowmobiling and ATV riding you leave from the back door. We also offer ATV rentals and guided tours.

Just a 10 minute drive to Botwood or Grand Falls-Windsor by vehicle.
Exploring this beautiful area is not limited to snowmobiling in the winter months but also ATV spring, summer and fall. It is exhilarating to experience the trails and tracks all throughout Newfoundland on the Trailway system (the old abandoned railway track that crosses the entire island), which is accessible right from our back door. Nature offers an experience you least expect.
Although we cannot guarantee wildlife sightings you can still immerse yourself in the natural beauty, storytelling and culture of this wonderful land. Maybe stop for a flick and catch some trout or enjoy a boil up along the trails. You can also stop to photograph these spectacular views, and immerse yourselves in the great outdoors.
We are extremely fortunate that our ruggedly beautiful island offers so many different experiences for the snowmobile/ATV enthusiast. What makes many of the Island’s destinations unique is that they are often remote and most of us are only offered the opportunity to see them by snowmobile/ATV.
These two areas I consider to be great experiences on the Island of Newfoundland, Mount Peyton is not the biggest mountain on the island, but it is a destination to visit for sure and Hodges Hills area is probably one of the best-kept secrets on the island.
