You’ll be surrounded by orchards, gorgeous lakes, excellent biking/hiking trails and tons of outdoor activities for the whole family. This property is only a short 10 minute drive away from Vernon which has all the amenities you’ll need including grocery stores, coffee shops, theatres and entertainment.
The entire Farmhouse will be yours to enjoy during your stay. The freshly renovated home features 3 bedrooms (1 queen/2 double beds) and 1 bathroom with a stacking laundry set. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully furnished for all of your cooking needs. There is a propane bbq that you are welcome to use and enjoy a meal on the outdoor patio set. The living room features a comfy couch, recliner and has a wall mounted TV ready for you to enjoy your favourite Netflix shows.
The Farmhouse is located on a private 0.5 acre parcel which includes 2 raspberry patches, a plum tree, perennial & veggie garden and mature trees. You’re welcome to enjoy the delicious fruit when it is in season!
Just over the fence you’ll meet our friendly pony Freya who loves a good scratch and attention from our visitors. Our two outdoor cats, Doug and Darla, run the whole property so don't be surprised if they stop by the front porch to say hello.
You may find your hosts occasionally working in the garden in the Spring or Summer, haying the field next door or tending to the animals, so don’t hesitate to say hello or ask for assistance if there is anything you require.
There are no immediate neighbours so the property is quiet and peaceful. Life is laid back, easy going and stress free at the Farmhouse. Watch a few sunsets from the lawn chairs, grill some steaks and enjoy what the Okanagan has to offer.
