Positive: This review is about Breton Cove Farmhouse, where we stayed. The main cottage at Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort, where you check in, is different from this farmhouse. Breton Cove Farmhouse is about a 10-minute drive from the main cottage. The hosts, Paul and Barbara, as well as the staff, were very friendly. However, the property (Breton Cove farmhouse) was in terrible condition. In fact, it should not be rented out in its current state. We were greeted by a strong foul smell upon arrival, and the cottage itself was very old and poorly maintained. The property was unclean, rats were running around, and bugs had nests inside the rooms. The kitchen was poorly maintained; the pots and pans were broken and mostly unusable. The only positive aspects were the hot tub and the outdoor parking area. This property urgently needs refurbishment.

Negative: The property was poorly maintained, with a strong foul smell, unclean rooms, rats running around, and bugs nesting inside. The kitchen had broken pots and pans, and most were unusable. Overall, the cottage was old and in need of major refurbishment.
