The hottest neighborhood on the Chain of Lakes! Beautiful canal front home with a short ride to Portage Lake. First floor master suite. Two additional bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Fully equipped recently updated kitchen with eating area. Recently updated open floor plan to make the most of the view. All door walls lead to an expansive deck for you to relax and enjoy the peacefulness during your get away. TV, Internet, and Netflix available. Canoe and kayak provided.

Summary: The house was very nice! Not as clean as I would have liked but we made do. The cabinets and floors were filthy and there was dog hair every where!! So to the start of our vacation we cleaned the cabinets and mopped the floors. We brought our bass boat which we had been communicating with the owner if we’d be able to keep the bass boat at the dock over night. He agreed to let us keep it in the water but at first said we’d have to take it out every night. We wanted to rent a pontoon for the day Sunday so I asked him if there would be enough room for both boats. He said no and that we’d have to take the bass boat out for the day, I said I understood. He then calls me Saturday morning at 8:30 and leaves me a voicemail saying not to have two boats out there and that his neighbors might call the cops on me. First of all there was no room to even have two boats on the dock. And I told him I understood and that we would take the bass boat out of the water so I was confused why he was calling me, I felt like I was being harassed. After the guys took the bass boat out of the water and got back with the pontoon, the neighbor told us we could have parked our boat at his dock. He was very friendly and nice! So then I was even more confused why the owner was acting the way he did. Also keep in mind we were traveling with my parents and my 14 month old daughter so it’s not like we were causing problems or being loud.
