The Estate is a 4200 square foot, three story, custom home on nearly six acres of prime real estate that can comfortably sleep up to 14 people. Furnished to create an atmosphere of a French Country Horse Farm, you’ll feel the sensation of being transported away from the everyday the very moment you arrive. In addition to the sleeping accommodations, The Estate offers a modern dine in kitchen, a cozy formal dining room, a family room, a bonus room, and a large screened in porch offering breathtaking views of the property.
Relaxation and comfort are the theme at the Estate, so whether you have chosen to get away with the family or with a group a friends, the amenities at the Estate were designed with you in mind. Sit out on the porch or patio and take in the beauty of nature surrounded by tall pine and birch trees and a veritable aviary of wild birds that soar above Nimich Pond. Or get up close and personal with the pond on our dock, while enjoying the tranquil sound of splashing water emitting from the in pond fountain. Looking for a little more? How about a cool dip in the new inground private salt water swimming pool, or explore the various planting beds, or the walking trails, or get your short game in order on our personal putting green or spend time with the young ones on the jungle gym swing set.
Even though you will feel as though you are far away from everything, in reality you are merely a stone’s throw from everything. Downtown Raleigh and Downtown Durham are both just twenty five minutes away; so whether you are visiting to attend a Wolfpack or Blue Devil game, or see a show at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC), the Estate places you right in the middle of these and other central Carolina event venues. Within fifteen minutes are three of the area’s renown golf courses; Falls Village, The Crossings, and Wildwood Green as well as a host of equestrian facilities suitable to the beginner or the experienced rider. Security Camera Disclosure
For the safety and security of our property, we have four (4) exterior security cameras installed. These cameras are located in public outdoor areas and are used to monitor the property only when the home is unoccupied. Cameras are not actively monitored during guest stays and do not record any interior or private guest areas.
Camera 1 is mounted on the barn and faces the front of the residence, monitoring the main entrance.
Camera 2 is located above the back balcony and overlooks the backyard, including the pool, pond, putting green, fountain, and dock. It helps us assess property condition after storms and monitor the functionality of the fountain when the property is unoccupied.
Camera 3 is positioned above the garage door and faces the front and side of the property, including the tree line.
Camera 4 is on the side of the barn and monitors the driveway for any unauthorized access when the property is vacant.
These devices are in place for security purposes only and are never used to monitor guests during their stay.
